c3560, how to remove a directory w/ files in it?

I am trying to upgrade cisco IOS for c3560 switches and I do not have enough space to upgrade. I trying to removed like the html folders, so I used rmdir to remove a directory but if the directory has files it would not let me erase it.

Does any one know the command to remove the directory with files in it?

Thanks

Hello Alejo,

You will need to use the delete command here... the syntax is as given below:

delete /force /recursive flash:dir_name

Use this and let us know if anything else is required on this.

command reference:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat3560/12225sed/cr1/cli1.htm#wp1861193

Hope this helps.. all the best.. rate replies if found useful.
