C3750X which IOS image?

Hello,

this week, I received a pair of C3750X-48T-S switches.While checking for the best IOS Image, I found many bug reports and reports of instable devices with IOS 15.0.2. The most stable and bug free IOS apparently is the 12.2.55 one.

However, the 12.2.55 train will be end of life soon:

Which IOS would you guys recommend me to use in a fresh installation? 12.2.55-SE9, 15.0.2-SE6 or a totally different one?

Hi,

After having a lot of problems with 15.0(1) and 15.2(1), TAC recommended us to use this version - 15.0(2)SE6. BTW its marked as  «Cisco Suggested release based on software quality, stability and longevity.» on download page. Currently we have been enjoing third month without problems so far.

Usualy IOS to be discussed with your account team as they would be the best person to define which one is the best for you rnetwork based on the products and services you are running on.

Anyways we are seeing the stable version on this platform to 15.0.2-SE6(ED)  you can go ahead and use this firmware.
