Hi,

We have a couple of 4500 switches with Sup 6-E that run 12.2(54)SG1

From time to time we see this happening:

Apr 20 08:03:17.446: %C4K_SWITCHINGENGINEMAN-4-IPPLLCINTERRUPTFREELISTBELOWHIPRIORITYTHRESHOLD: (Suppressed 260 times)IPP LLC freelistBelowHiPriorityThreshold interrupt FreeListCount: 2086

This causes HSRP and OSPF to recycle and temporaryly flaps the network.

Has anyone seen this?

Could it be a bug?

Thanks.

BR,

/JZ

We spotted this condition only when ESX hosts on our Nexus environment are put in maintenance mode.

If anyone else has seen this issue with a Nexus/Cat4500/ESX environment, please let me know.

Thank you,

BR,

/JZ
