C6500 - Multicast traffic processed by CPU

Hi,

I notice on my 6500 qui te a lot of multicast traffic processed by the CPU.

For exemple, I have a lot of SRVLOC traffic on IP address 239.255.255.253.

- TTL is 250

- there is no IP options in packet

- packet is not fragmented

so I don't see the reason of such a traffic processed by CPU ...

Any idea?

can you let me know the following?

1) show proc cpu sorted | exc 0.00

2) Debug netdr capture rx

3) show netdr captured packets

Share the output and we will see why the packet is getting punted to CPU.
