Campus QoS: WTD-Thresholds on Egress Queue

Hi all,

I've been trying to analyze the Auto-QoS-Config of a Catalyst 2960 and there is one command I don't understand:

mls qos queue-set output qset-id threshold queue-id drop-threshold1 drop-threshold2 reserved-threshold maximum-threshold

What I don't understand particularly are the values for drop-threshold 1 and 2.

Example:

mls qos queue-set output 1 threshold 1 138 138 92 138

Possible values are between 1-3200 and now I'm asking myself what is the purpose of WTD-Thresholds of more than 100% (138% in this case)?

Guess I misunderstand the command...

command reference says

>>The drop-threshold percentages can exceed 100 percent and can be up to the maximum (if the maximum threshold exceeds 100 percent).

so the sample config statement is correct.

the command is strictly related to this

mls qos queue-set output buffers

that is the one that provides the buffers absolute size for the queue-set.

I agree that is not clear and not expected to see a percentage going above 100%.
