Can anybody explain the 802.1q support for point to multipoint topologies ?

Or if you could point me to a document that explains this ?

Hi Jorge

I have no idea. I read the CCNP switching course and there was a mention about 802.1q supporting ....see the subject line. That is all I know.

Tunnleing 802.1q in 802.1q doesn't sound like poit to multipoint to me but ...if Cisco says somewhere that that is what it means ...I will take that as an answer.
