can't ping subinterface

Hello. Can anybody tell me why i cant ping from Router1 fa0/1 subinterface of Router2 fa0/0.1 Both ports have Ip in same subnet and are On. Thank you

Hi,

router 1 physical interface has no knowledge of vlan tags so if you didn't specify on f0/0.1 on R2 that it had to untag this vlan it won't work.
