Cannot get GLC-T/SFP-GE-T to work with SPA-2X1GE in 12.2(33)SR

Hi,

Does any 7600 user able to get GLC-T or SFP-GE-T working with SPA-2X1GE under 12.2(33)SR IOS? I am having trouble to get it work after upgrade from 12.2(18)SX to 12.2(33)SR series. Both GE port and GLC-T/SFP-GE-T are working when I am using 12.2(18)SXF4. I have tried 12.2(33)SRC and 12.2(33)SRB2, and combination of GLC-T and SFP-GE-T adapter, the GE ports keep down with the two 12.2(33) version.

It may have something to do with the negotiation. But I can't turn it on in 12.2(33).

The "[no] negotiation auto" command will have no effect with this interface

The new 7600-specific 12.2(33)SR versions don't support all features, but they could be seen as "more recent" than 12.2(18)SX, and the section is about the minimum requirements. 12.2(33)SRB on C7600 cannot set the data-port into trunk mode for inline inspection.

Thanks for the information. Actually we want to test out the new VPLS Autodiscovery, BGP-based feature which currently only available in 12.2(33)SRC and 12.2(33)SRB2. 12.2(33)SRC should support the hardware I am using if the page correct:

I also tested with GLC-SX-MM and it is working fine. Still wondering it is hardware issue or software bug.
