cant ping default gateway

In packet tracer, everything seemed to be working fine, not sure what happened.

I cant ping from a laptop to the default gateway. The default gateway is a router and on one interface (inside lan) is th edefault gateway ip address and the other interface is the public ip address to the isp router.

I can ping from the laptop to the two layer 2 switches before the router, and I can ping from the router to the external isp router. I cant figure out why I cant ping to the inside interface of the router? Thanks.

Can you post the config of the router?

Can you do a #show ip int brief on the router and post the results?

1) ip address of the laptop

2) show ip route of both the routers

3) show ip int brief of both the router
