Cat 4003 Fast Etherchannel question

I have a cat 4003 running catOS. Im looking at the guidelines for Fast Etherchannel based on this document:

We want to do Fast Etherchannel between 2 blades for redundancy. Based on the "valid" configs- where the first 2 channels of a group must be used, do you have to have 2 on 1 blade, 2 on the other for it to be valid (meaning 4 ports on the other device)? Or can this be done with 1 port on 1 module and 1 on the other?

You can do with 1 port on 1 module and 1 on the other, but misconfiguration cause in the inability to create an EtherChannel bundle.
