Cat 500 24LC and which 4 ports are POE

I must be having a thick moment. Are all the ports on the 24LC capable of POE but the limitation is that the switch can only support 4 ports due to power max at 60w?

Also, is the way to set POE on a port to set the port to an Access Point? The whole Smartport concept is very limiting.

I want to run IP Camera's on POE, but can't seem to find any reference to how to set a port to POE other that as an AP.

Any points would be appreciated.

Hi,

AFAIK there is no need to configure the power settings, it will auto detect. You need to specify the port type as AP while configuring the switch. The AP & IP camera power settings will be same.
