cat 6500 boot options

Hi all

can anyone tell me on the cat 6500 how it selects its boot image by default? if there is nothing in the boot variable, does it boot from the first image it finds ?

and how would i change it to boot the image from the boot disk? would it be boot system disk0:xxxxx ?

is this box a hybrid box or a IOS only box?

you can put code on the sup-bootdisk: or just disk0: for a IOS only box. and the command for booting off the disk0: would be "boot system flash disk0:xxxx"
