We are running Version 12.1(13)E - Image name c6msfc2-psv-mz.121-13.E8.bin
Questions:
1. Should I change the MSFC2 or
2. The MSFC2 and the SUP2 or
3. Am I see S/W defect CSCdu83548 which says to upgrade to 12.1(19)E or
4. Or do nothing and just monitor since this is the first occurence of this CAT 6500 switch.

Parity error crashes are always Hardware related, but if the crash only occurs once, it is mostly likely due to a soft (or transient)
parity error.
I would suggest to wait and see if this happens in future. If it still occurs then go ahead and get the Sup replaced. There is no need for an IOS upgarde just for this error. If you have any other feature or hardware requirement then you can upgrade the IOS on the switch.
HTH,Please rate if it does.

I agree with Amit. Here is the link which describes the error condition and suggested action by Cisco.
