Cat 6500 question

Hi

I have few question on Cat 6509

1)if i have two supervisor-720 module in chassis , do i need addtional MSFC card or PFC card for layer 3 and Qos feature?

2)if i have two supervisor 1A or supervisor 2 or supervisor 32 module avilable in my chassis then do i require MSFC card and PFC card for layer 3 & Qos function.?

3)if i have MSFC and Supervisor-1A module available in chasiss and i want to upgrade IOS in chassis then do i need to seperately upgrade ? what is procedure , please send me link.

I have read few docs but it is not clear to me, if someone have good doc link , please send me

Hi

1.If u r SUP is integrated with MSFC and PFC then u dnot need it as one will be active and the other will be standby.

2.yes u require MSFC and PFC.

3.Depends upon u r config at present r u running in hybrid mode if yes then u need to upgrade them separately.
