I tried it and it takes a reboot any way you look at it. You might be able to disable diags to reduce time.

Explain what challenges/insight you have on the requirements for a complete reboot.

If I am doing a full cold boot of the chassis, do I need to upgrade each SUP engine first as in the guide or just let it upgrade both with the new image automatically upon reboot?

Please advise.
