Does anyone knows the pin out assigment for creating a console cable using CAT5 RJ-45.

Is it the same as a Crossover?

No it is not the same as a crossover, a rollover cable would be laid out like this:

End 1

Orange/White, Orange, Green/White, Blue, Blue/White, Green, Brown/White, Brown

End 2 is the inverse of End 1

Brown, Brown/White, Green, Blue/White, Blue,

Green/White, Orange, Orange/White

So however you wire one end you just do the opposite on the other. Very Simple.

Thank you all for your reply and information.

Just made one and it worked ..

Rgds
