Hello Marcelo,

I suggest first trying to upgrade the IOS. The 12.2(25)FX was, as far as I know, the initial IOS version for the 2960 series and it is now superseded by the 12.2SE track. The 12.2(25)FX is not even available for download so Cisco has obviously had its reasons for withdrawing it.

The current version of the IOS for the 2960 series is the 12.2(50)SE3.

If upgrading the IOS does not remove the problem then I am afraid you will have to contact the TAC support, as these types of exceptions are generally hard to diagnose and correct without proper guidance.

Best regards,

Peter

Thanks for your help Peter!!!

The problem was resolved

Marcelo,

Best regards,

Peter

Can you please suggest what remedy steps you took to solve this issue, as even I am facing it on one of our 500 Catalyst switches.

Regards

Hi Sundeep

The IOS upgrade solved this issue with catalyst 2960. If this action does not resolve the problem, you should contact the TAC.

Regards,

Marcelo
