Catalyst 4006 support for Dual MSFC

Can anyone tell me if a Catalyst 4006 CatOS 5.4(2) will support redundant WS-X4013 SUP II interfaces?

I looked all over the Cisco Documentation and could not find a definative answer.

Re: Catalyst 4006 support for Dual MSFC

Thanks, I did more reading and came to the same conclusion.

From what I have read, the Catalyst 4000 is a Layer 2 only switch and does not support any routing.

Re: Catalyst 4006 support for Dual MSFC

Hello,

Cat4006 support Layer3 routing as well using a layer3 module 4232-L3, but these cannot be installed as redundent modules. So with 4006 there is no module redundancy available.
