i have one catalyst 6509 core switch installed on my customer site
after telneting to the switch the switch working seems to be very slow and some time it gives a message
"%ETHC-5-PORTTOSTP:Port 4/3 joined bridge Port 4/3"
pls anybody help me

Hi,
This messege "%ETHC-5-PORTTOSTP:Port 4/3 joined bridge Port 4/3" is normal, it saying that blade 4 port 3, PC, printer... connected.
If you want, you can turn it off,
- enable/disable loggin
type:
show cpu util to check your processes... etc.
