Recently I create monitor session on my Catalyst 6509 ( Supervisor Engine 2 with IOS version 12.1E(19)) monitor session source are 2 VLANs, destination is one GE port. After created, one of linecard on Catalyst6509 restart and syslog message are :
*Oct 8 11:29:15.171: %CPU_MONITOR-SP-6-NOT_HEARD: CPU_MONITOR messages have not been heard for 31 seconds [8/0]
*Oct 8 11:29:45.171: %CPU_MONITOR-SP-6-NOT_HEARD: CPU_MONITOR messages have not been heard for 61 seconds [8/0]
*Oct 8 11:30:15.171: %CPU_MONITOR-SP-6-NOT_HEARD: CPU_MONITOR messages have not been heard for 91 seconds [8/0]

When this happens, the supervisors keepalive polling does not receive a response from the module within the allotted time and the supervisor reboots the module in order to try to gain a better connection to it.
The switch reports the error message:
%C6KPWR-4-DISABLED: Power to module in slot [dec] set [chars]
This message indicates that the module in the indicated slot was powered off for the indicated reason. [dec] is the slot number, and [chars] indicates the power status.
To resolve this problem :Recovery depends on the indicated reason. Using the information provided in the error message, troubleshoot and resolve the power problem. If necessary, replace defective components.
