Catalyst IOS Native Release and NAC

We are currently reviewing the network infrastructure here with a view to implement NAC-2.

In tandem, we'd like to upgrade the core Sup's to 720 cards but I notice that 802.1X support is scheduled for a "future" release of IOS.

We currently happily run 802.1X on an isolated WLAN running on firewalled Cat3560 switches.

I realise I want my cake and eat it here, but ideally I'd like to transition the core to native IOS but also maintain/provide 802.1X support.

Any firmer dates other than "future".

I don't want to have to upgrade to a later version of CatOS and then IOS. I'd like to do it all in one fell swoop so that it only hurts once :)

Thanks

Hi friend,

Please find the documnet for the supported switchs and the minimum IOS release required for the NAC feature support.

HTH, please rate if it does.
