Which one is the best to start from and what hardware is required ?

Hi

You can start with the HW : 2600 Series ( 2621 XM ) Routers & 3550 or 3560 Series switch for Pratices.

Also you can use GNS3 Emulator for Pratice Lab for routing.

As CCNP is dedicated to Routing & Switching . So you can start with Routing & then you can go towards Switching .
