CDP Nei question / multiple devices on a port?

Is there any reason a properly functioning 2950 switch would return two devices on a single port given a sh cdp nei command?

I am seeing this on a 2950 and want to confirm there is no cause other than malfunction I should be looking into.

Sounds like someone plugged something in that shouldn't be there like a hub with a couple cisco devices behind it .

If there is more than one device running CDP behind one port you will see both CDP neighbors. This is a valid situation.

It seems you have more than one device running CDP behind the port.
