CE500 - hanging a switch off an IP Phone

"IP Phone + Desktop" selected as Port Role. Documentation says 3 MAC's have access to the port (voice VLAN is configured). Assume the phone is 1 MAC? If I hang a small Linksys switch off the phone and connect a computer to that switch, does the switch itself plus the PC count for the other 2 MACs? I would like to have 2 (preferably up to 4) PC's/devices connected to the phone. Don't want to change Security Level and deal with manually entering/approving all MACs on all ports. Is there a way to jiggle the number of hosts that can connect using this port role?

Thanks!

it is generally not recommended to daisy chaing switch(es) off a cisco ip phone.

but to answer your question, yes, a switch plugged into the phone with a PC into the switch will account for two mac addresses.

the switch/port has a mac and the PC nic has a mac.

if connecting another phone to the second switch or daisy chaining phones, use the Forwarding Delay parameter in CCMADMIN.
