cisco 1700 series router failing to load IOS

guys kindly assist me. find the message i am getting when trying to boot my 1700 series router.

It seems like a software failure. Please upgrade the image on the router.

thank you Nagaraja. i have upgraded the IOS with a version that is currently runninf on one of my routers but the upgraded version is not loading again. jsut have a look at what i have done and the error that is coming out below:

monitor: command "boot" aborted due to user interrupt

rommon 1 > IP_ADDRESS=192.168.100.16

rommon 2 > IP_SUBNET_MASK=255.255.255.0

rommon 3 > DEFAULT_GATEWAY=192.168.100.247

          IP_ADDRESS: 192.168.100.16
