Re: Cisco 1801 & Etherchannels

Hello,

It seems like 1801 does not support Etherchannel configuration. The

etherswitch module on 1801 is similar to HWIC-4ESW/HWIC-9ESW which do not

support etherchannel either.

Here is a document that describes Layer 3 Etherchannel support on ISR

platform.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

That does seem like a possibility. Other option is to use EIGRP that

supports even un-even cost load balancing.

Re: Cisco 1801 & Etherchannels

Hi,

If it doesn't support Etherchannels I was thinking I could use maybe up to four of the fastethernet ports on the 1801 which are then plugged into a Cisco 3550 switch and put each of those four fastethernet ports into their own vlan and setup OSPF to do the load balancing. Can someone suggest if this is possible?

Thanks,

Ross.
