Cisco 2060 and ASA 5505

Hi Guys, 

I have an ASA 5505 in a test environment that I am currently building and would like to know if it is possible to setup a PortChannel group between the ASA and a Cisco 2960 switch. 

If this is not possible I can see two ways of doing things, 

1) Setup a single trunk port between the ASA and the switch allowing all VLANs, this will have a maximum bandwidth of 100mb for all traffic :(

2) Setup 4 trunk ports on the ASA and C2960 and patch them in separately, it should avoid any network loops as each port on on its own VLAN so hopefully STP won't kick in and shutdown the ports. 

My preferred option would be to setup a port channel group and use that as a trunk for my 4 VLANs but I cannot get hold of a ASA 5510 for my test environment.

To do Portchannel you need 5510 or higher.  5505 doesn't support it.

Do you really need more than 100mb bandwidth, if you don't the easiest solution is option 1.

 

Also see table-8 in this link.  The throughput for a 5505 is only 150mb
