hi!

i have plenty of 2600er connected via a serial wan connection to a 7500 which is connectedto out private lan. 2600er have also wan ips.

problem:

i have a device in our lan 7500 which should see the MAC ADDRESSES of an device (or moredevices) connected to a port on the 2600ers behind the WAN

question:

how can i make the pakets go through with the mac addresses still intact?

i want to give "ok" from 75er side for specific mac addresses to access the network. but i need to know them

i thought of bridging.. but do now know how exactly...

any help appreciated!

THANKS

Setup the router so that the serial Interfaces had IP Addresses, turn on routing, remove the Bridge Group commands from the two interfaces, and setup a Gateway of Last Resort. If it didn't work then he would definitely have an issue outside the routers, most likely in the DSU/CSU configurations.
