I want to aggregate links between a Cisco 2901 router and a Palo Alto firewall
I am running Version 15.2 on the 2901 router and I have a EHWIC-4ESG card installed, making the connections to the firewall
I tried adding a port-channel to the configuration but I am unable to add the switch card interfaces to it?
The option is available when I look at one of the built in interfaces
I am assuming that it is not posible to get this to work on the switch card. Is there any other way I achieve aggregation?
Thanks
Simon

According to this page from Cisco docs this switch module does not support EtherChannel. See this link for details.

I am sure that this was not the answer that you wanted to get. I was quite surprised when I found the page with the information because I had assumed that EtherChannel should have been supported. But it is good to know what the reality is.
I am glad that I could find the explanation for your issue. Thank you for using the rating system to mark this question as answered.
