Cisco 2960 X FastEthernet 0 The remote system refused the connection.

I have a 2960X-24TS-L running "System image file is "flash:/c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2.EX5/c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2.EX5.bin"

I can SSH or Telnet to VTY ports

I can't use the FastEthernet 0 for Management with either Telnet or SSH or to TFTP config's

I get message ( The remote system refused the connection ) when I try to connect with Telnet or SSH

I have assigned an ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0 to the FastEthernet 0 interface

I can ping the workstation connected to the FastEthernet 0 interface from the switch

I can ping the FastEthernet interface on the switch for the workstation

I did a no aaa new-model

Reloaded Switch and then put aaa new-model

Still doesn't work

I have another 2690X-24TS-L running "System image file is "flash:/c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2.EX5/c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2.EX5.bin"

Only difference is the ip address assigned to the FastEthernet 0 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0 and the Vlan Assigned to the GigabitEthernet interfaces

And it works for Telnet and SSH on the FastEthernet 0 interface.

Exactly how are you connected

Exactly how are you connected?

For you to have remote access to the Management interface port, you need to be DIRECTLY CONNECTED to the Management interface port.
