I cannot get a route map configured on my new Cisco 3560X. When I go into the vlan to apply the routemap the configuration

will not accept the ip policcy command.

Check you have followed the guidelines for PBR

To use PBR, you must first enable the routing template by using the

sdm prefer routing

global configuration command. PBR is not supported with the VLAN or default template. For more information on the SDM templates, see

Chapter 8 "Configuring SDM Templates."

If you are trying to use PBR, you need "IP Services" license:
