Cisco 3750 switch stack-port 2 is bouncing

Hello

I am getting the following messages.

Does this mean the cable needs to be replaced?

The problem appears to be on the 2nd switch in the stack. Can someone advise on the procedure

to fix this issue and will there be an outage of any kind during the replacement?

#sh switch stack-ports
  Switch #    Port 1       Port 2

    1           Ok           Ok
    2           Ok          Down
    3           Ok           Ok
    4           Ok           Ok

Hey,

It could be either port or cable. Try replacing the stack cable with a good known one.

HTH.

Sometimes you have to take a screwdriver to the stackcables to tighten them correctly, just don't heave on them and strip the screws. snug only... If it still happens replace cable and try again.
