I am trying to set up a nortel phone with a cisco switch. I have put the port in the trunk modem. The phone works but the PC attached to the phone doesnt. Please let me know what I am missing.
You don't need to manually trunk the port with Nortel phones, the
switchport voice vlan xx
will do this for you.
So you only need,
switchport access vlan
switchport mode access
switchport voice vlan
You need to make sure the Nortel phone settings for the voice and data vlan are the same, either via hardcoding in the phone options or via DHCP options 191 & 128. Have a look at this link
