Cisco 3750G - SNMP

Hello All:

Having an issue setting up my monitoring software to access switch.

I have the community name as rw on the switch according to monitoring software specs.

I have created a standard IP access-list NETMON to permit host (10.0.1.152 ip of monitoring station)

Can't connect ? What am I doing wrong?

I would recommend first is to configure the SNMP password and try having your monitoring software inquiry your switch before trying to put an ACL security on the switch.

Then if it is still not working, I would run a snmp debug on the switch to ensure that the switch is getting the SNMP request and that it is sending a response.

Once that is completed and working, try to get the security portion working.

Thx - looks like the software supports SNMP v2 and the switch v3.
