cisco 3750X SWITCH FREQUENT HARDWARE FAILURES

  Dear All,

In my site, We have more than 35 cisco WS-C3750X-48PF-S switches in that we frequently found that switches got failure in production.

The symptoms found is both power supply modules are working. But no other LED is glowing in back side and also no LED indication in front panel.

In powe supply module the indications are PS ok LED-solid green, AC ok LED-Solid green.

Request your kind suggestion rrgarding the issue. And please let me know anyone facing the same issue.

Can you post the logs of the swicth to find out the exact problem.

Paste the output of this command:

sh logg

The switch not at all booting up..no LED indications..so not able to take sh logg..

Anyone have same issue.

In my previous company we used lots of 3750X series switches and the only failures we had were the odd Power Supply which was evident from a red light on the back.

If you are having regular failures then I would be opening a case with Cisco to investigate.
