Clock is unsynchronized, stratum 16, no reference clock
nominal freq is 119.2092 Hz, actual freq is 119.2092 Hz, precision is 2**17
reference time is 00000000.00000000 (08:00:00.000 GMT Mon Jan 1 1900)
clock offset is 0.0000 msec, root delay is 0.00 msec
root dispersion is 46985.14 msec, peer dispersion is 0.00 msec
loopfilter state is 'FSET' (Drift set from file), drift is 0.000000000 s/s
system poll interval is 64, never updated.

I tried to manually set the time so that the ntp server and the switch will have almost identical time, and btw NTP Server is a firewall, IP of the switch is allowed, and im actually seeing logs on the firewall side(watchguard) that it is trying to sync w/ the ntp server

Out of curiosity, this NTP server of yours, is this a Windows-based server? If it is, it ain't going to work. How MS defines NTP/SNTP is not the same as IEEE standard which Cisco is based on.

NTP server is watchguard firewall, other devices such as AD, ubuntu server is pointed on it and using its time sychronization and its working, i dont know why im having an issue w/ cisco 3750x

Ok, so it's a non-Windows box providing NTP/SNTP. Can I ask if you can downgrade the IOS to 15.0(2)SE4?

no i cant downgrade to a lower version, is my current image causing the issue thats why it wont sync to NTP Server?  or is there something wrong w/ my commands?

Not sure yet.  But if you can downgrade to a more stable IOS, like 15.0(2)SE4, and NTP works then ...

Could you post how you did allow switch NTP access by IP?

hi, i allowed that access by adding the IP Address of my core swc to the NTP firewall rule therefore allowing it
