Cisco 3825 NVRAM Corrupted ?

I was working in the router and tried to save the changes, but I got the following error "startup-config file open failed (Not enough space)". Does anyone know of a proper way to fix this issue?

When I tried to do a "show start", I get this error:

sh start

Using 12058 out of 491512 bytes

%Error opening nvram:/startup-config (Bad address)

IOS: c3825-ipvoicek9-mz.124-16.bin

Thanks for any input.

Re: Cisco 3825 NVRAM Corrupted ?

Got the issue resolved. Save the running config to another location, then "erase /all nvram:", then issue "wr mem".

It also helps to reduce the size of the config when saving it on NVRAM if you issue this command "service compress-config" globally prior to "wr mem".
