Cisco 4506 WS-C4506 hangup issue

  Hi,

 

We have faced issue with Switches model  WS-C4506 got hangup and unable to loging through console as reported by our Customer but we are not getting any error logs/specific messages for this event happened.

 

Platform: WS-C4506

IOS :cat4000-is-mz.121-12c.EW2.bin

 

Attaching here show tech-support for these two switches, confirm if there is some finding's.

Hello,

The show tech is taken after the reload of the box. Hence it may not be of much use to find the issue occurred. I would say try to pull the syslogs from the server 10.249.29.249 since you are logging to it.

It may give us some information on what would have happened at that time. If nothing else is seen, please proactively monitor the CPU utilization and Memory utilization of the box to ensure nothing unusual.

Again it can be a one time issue, but if it repeats you can have a laptop connected to the console of the box so that when this happens you may be able to see what happened on the box.
