cisco 4507R problem?

1. Sometimes i can not login the 4507R switch using telnet , but i can login 4507R after reboot the 4507R .

2. Using ping to test the network performing, ping the vlan interface of the 4507r directly, like this:

Reply from 192.168.0.254: bytes=32 time=4ms TTL=255;

I think 4ms is too long , is there any problem with the 4507R?

What error message(s) do you get when you attempt to log in? Did you try to console?

I can login the 4507R switch using console.

4 ms is not too long, pinging a network device is not a good way to test performance or thruput as the supervisor puts a low priority on ping responses.
