Cisco 48 Port Gigabit Module for 4507R+E Switch

Dear Team,

I need to add a 48 port GE Line Card to my existing Cisco 4507R+E Switch. I am looking at theses options:

  • WS-X4748-RJ45-E
  • WS-X4648-RJ45-E

Please let me know which card will be the best suited based on the following Sh Ver and Sh Inv commands.

Do we need an IOS upgrade either going with 4648 or 4748 or it will work with the current IOS?
