Posting
As Reza has already described, you can pretty much use any 4948-10g port for any purpose. Normally you use 10g port where you expect to have the most traffic.
If you do use both your 10g ports for something like SAN, when interconnecting switches, you often also have the option to port-channel them too. Remember (if you have the ports free), you can port-channel up to 8 ports (I recall on a 4948). Binary multiples work best (i.e. 2, 4, 8).
When doing any port-channeling, don't forget to insure you're using the best hash algorithm for your traffic.
