Cisco 65K-R VSS - Adding more vsl link

Hi all

need a little bit of help regarding VSS, trying to add more channel to existing VSL port channel. Details as below

Sup-VS-S720-10G - using 1 link for VSL

line card - WS-X6716-10GE - like to add another 1 or 2 from this line card as well

the dilemma is these 10 Gig line card currently serving as distribution/access up link in oversubscribe mode, reading  VSS document claims that all VSL links must operate  in performance mode

is there any way i can operate/configure these, WS-X6716-10GE in mixed mode line port group 1 & 2 as performance , 3 & 4 over subscribe mode ?

Please let me know

Thanks

Hi,the 6716 Maps to 4 groups

Hi,

the 6716 Maps to 4 groups of 4.  So, you should be able to designate one group for performance mode and use it for VSL link. This is if you don't have any port already configured in that group. Have a look at this link:
