Cisco AP and PIX

Have an existing PIX 505 (192.168.0.1) serving as gateway/firewall.

Customer just purchased a Cisco a/g/b AP.

We would like to have two SSID's up. One for Employee's and one for Visitors. The Employee SSID will have access to local servers, internet, etc. The Visitor SSID will be restricted to HTTP, HTTPS, and that's about it.

Is this possible with the present equipment? If so, any pointers? I've never messed with VLANs on a PIX.

I believe there is a 2600 router somewhere in the loop, but I'm not 100%. New client for me.

hi,

To implement multiple SSID You must create vlan for each SSID. A sugest to purchase router with vlan support (1841, 2801....) or ASA5510.

regards
