cisco AP BVI

Hi all

when configuring my AP, when i put an ip address on it, where do i configure it, do I do this on the BVI interface? or do i need to put it on both the fast ethernet and bvi interfaces? do i need to type bridge-group 1 on my fast ethernet interface also?

thanks

Re: cisco AP BVI

Because interface BVI 1 is associated to the subinterface of the Native VLAN, the IP address assigned to interface BVI 1 must be in the same IP subnet as other infrastructure devices on the network.

Re: cisco AP BVI

so when configuring this, do I just need to type in the ip on the BVI interface? will the fast ethernet interface that connects to the lan use this ip as they are bridged? so i dont need to put an ip on the actual fast ethernet interface ??
