Cisco ASR 1002 no auto negotiation

Hi,

I just want to know, what auto negotiation or no auto negotiation means in the Cisco ASR 1002 gigabit interfaces and what will be the impact if we apply them on interfaces.

Hello

This command wil just turn on or of the Auto-negotiation protocol for the interface.

The following link is a good reference point regarding negotiation although its targetted to catalyst switches, it would apply:
