Cisco Catalyst 3750 Vlan issue with WinInstall PXE boot

Dear all,

We are having problems with WinInstall PXE boot ever since we split up the network in different Vlans

Currently we have several Vlans but the 2 most important ones are a user and a server Vlan

If the workstation is in the user Vlan and the PXE Server as well but the DHCP servers from which it receives the PXE server details is in the server Vlan then it works

If the PXE Server is in the server Vlan with the DHCP servers and the workstation in the user Vlan then it does not work even if I add a DHCP Helper address of the PXE server to the user Vlan

anyone got any ideas what could be the problem or where to start troubleshooting

The following are the requirements

IBM PC-compatible computer with an Intel Pentium III or higher processor.

Support for PXE 2.1 or later.

A network interface supported by PXE.

A directly attached disk drive in the master boot host.

Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server with Service Pack 3.

Cisco iSCSI Driver Version 2.2.1 (or later) for Microsoft Windows 2000

Note Only the Cisco iSCSI Driver Version 2.2.1 (or later) for Microsoft Windows 2000 is supported with this version of Cisco Network Boot.
