We are looking at upgrading our core switches to the new 6800 series and I wanted to know are they shipping those yet? I've read several articles and they all said next year would be the ship date for them.
FCS is set for November 2013. The first set of modules to support the chassis will start shipping three months later.
I believe they will now start taking orders.
I was told that the new 6807 is cheaper than a 6500. Not sure how accurate that is.
