We are building our first dedicated Cisco network and intend to use the Cisco management software to manage the system. We have specified 2 - SF300-24P switches coupled by fiber and a couple of WAP321 access points. Now the customer wants to add a small IDF in another section of the building. I do not need for the thrid switch to be managed but I do want it to be recognized by the management software. Since this is a new venture for us I need to know that I am buying a switch that interfaces properly. The switch I am interested in for the new IDF is model # SF100-24. Will this work correctly with the management software?
