Cisco Nexus 5000 and LACP

Hello,

I have a pair of Nexus 55594UP with several fexes dual homed.

I have configured a lot of LACP port-channel without problem with a lot of servers. We installed a new Sun Solaris several weeks ago with this config and it works great.

Now we need to install a second Sun Solaris and it doens't works well.

Setup :

One port-channel of two 10gb NIC directly connected in each N5k.

Multiple port-channels of two 1gb NIC connected to the same fex.

The problem is, on all port-channels of this server, one port is "P" and the other is "I" for 1gb cards (#13-14-17). For the 10gbs port-channel (#9), I see "I" on both Nexus

# sh port-channel summary

9     Po9(SD)     Eth      LACP      Eth1/6(I)

13    Po13(SU)    Eth      LACP      Eth111/1/7(I)  Eth111/1/8(P)

14    Po14(SU)    Eth      LACP      Eth111/1/9(I)  Eth111/1/10(P)

17    Po17(SU)    Eth      LACP      Eth111/1/1(P)  Eth111/1/2(I)

Config for the 10gb (same on both N5k)

interface port-channel9

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 2

  spanning-tree port type edge

  vpc 9

interface Ethernet1/6

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 2

  spanning-tree port type edge

  channel-group 9 mode active

Config for the 1gb port-channels :

interface port-channel13

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 12

  spanning-tree port type edge

interface Ethernet111/1/7

  description CT20SSLDCP01

interface Ethernet111/1/8

interface Ethernet111/1/9

  channel-group 14 mode active

interface Ethernet111/1/10

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 13

  spanning-tree port type edge

  channel-group 14 mode active

interface port-channel17

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 3

  spanning-tree port type edge

interface Ethernet111/1/1

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 3

  channel-group 17 mode active

interface Ethernet111/1/2

  description CT20SSLDCP01

  switchport access vlan 3

  spanning-tree port type edge

  channel-group 17 mode active

Do you have any idea ?

On the server we see this message too, which is weird because these aggr and ports numbers doesn't exist on the server and these numbers change randomly :

Jul 25 10:03:30  CT20SSLDCP01 aggr: NOTICE: aggr 45 port  15: Port Partner MAC 0:23:4:ee:be:1 and key 13 in use on aggregation 47 port  18

Jul 25 10:03:31  CT20SSLDCP01 aggr: NOTICE: aggr 45 port  13: Port Partner MAC 0:23:4:ee:be:1 and key 10 in use on aggregation 47 port  8

Thanks !
