Anyone know where you can get the Cisco part number legend from?
Example: "WS-C2960-24TT-L" what do the letters mean after the -24 [TT-L]

The "TT" stands for the type of uplink. In this case, it's TWO (2) 10/100/1000BaseTX.
"L" is what kind of image. In this case it's LAN Base.

Thanks leolaohoo for your response. Is there a legend or documentation anywhere that spells all this out? How did you come across this information?

WS-C2960-24TT-L | |
WS | Wire Speed |
C | Catalyst |
2960/2960G | Series of switches 2960-10/100 and 2960G-10/100/1000 for host. |
24 | Interfaces for host |
TT | First T refers type of host interface, means UTP and second T (both are UTP ports) refers type of uplink interface |
if 2960-24TC-L then C means Combo - SFP and UTP - you can use only one type of interface.
if 2960-24PC-L then P means PoE port for hosts.
L | L for image of switch L- for LAN BASE and S - for Lan Lite image. |

Is anybody knows what legends stands for below parts numbers:
WS-C2960S-24PD-L
WS-C2960S-48FPD-L
Both same switches with diff in ports count then why F is missing in WS-C2960S-24PD-L?
Thank you

"F" means FULL Poe Power. This "F" can only be found in some selected 48-port switches. You will not be able to find "F" in 24 ports.
When you see "F", it means that you can push up to 48-ports of 15.4w PoE.

Hi,
It is really difficult to understand full functionality of device just to see part number however Cisco must provide proper document explaining what LETTER they would be using in part number for what purpose but I could not fine.
I have attached that give good idea about that.
